Our Story

The Latino Chamber is a program of the Windham Region Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc., a 501c3 public charity with a mission to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting economic, civic, cultural and social development for all people in our community, with assistance to and empowerment of four specific cohorts, Veterans, Women and Girls, Minorities and Artists, to help them grow their personal, financial, professional and civic status. The Latino Chamber’s function is to foster intercultural understanding, to empower Latinos to take on leadership roles, to be proud of their cultural heritage, to overcome the challenges they face and to make their voices heard in their community.

Programs we support….

Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

With the challenges of today's economy, creating and maintaining a small business could be difficult, especially for minorities. The Latino Chamber of Windham was created by a group of local Latino community members in the Greater Windham area who wanted to provide business resources for Latino entrepreneurs. We host monthly professional development workshops, networking opportunities and financial resources to help every business reach their potential.

Latino Cultural Heritage & Intercultural Understanding

We are so fortunate to have so many different Latino cultural groups in our region. The Latino Chamber of Windham aims to bring them all together to create a coalition of community leaders who will foster a sense of pride in their Latino heritage and promote the wonderful and beautiful arts, history, food and religion that make being Latino something to be proud of. We host several community cultural events and highlight the amazing Latino people and businesses in our hometown.
